Long Hau Corporation is one of four Vietnamese enterprises received the Asia-Pacific International Quality 2017
Recently, Charles Aubrey - President of the International Council for Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) announced the results of the award in 2017.
Accordingly, Vietnam has 4 GPEA Business Awards in 2017 among 24 nominated enterprises from Pacific Rim or Asian countries.
- Ton Dong A Corporation received the “World Class” Global Performance Excellence Award in the large manufacturing category.
- Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company received the “World Class” under the “Large Service” organization classification
- Vietnam Germany Steel Mill Joint Stock Company, received the “Best In Class” in the small manufacturing category.
- Long Hau Corporation received the Quest for Excellence Award under the “Small Service” organization classification
The GPEA 2017 Award Ceremony will be organized by APQO in partnership with Philippine Quality Organization on 23-25 October 2017 in Manila, Philippines on the occasion of the 23rd International Quality Conference.
GPEA is a strategic enabling tool for global performance excellence. It helps to strengthen the strategies and performance of organizations to succeed in the fast evolving global market place. The GPEA process promotes awareness in performance excellence as an increasingly important tool in competitiveness towards global business success and sustainability. The GPEA is the only formal international recognition of performance/business excellence. Thus, The GPEA Award is a prestigious award that companies in the Asia Pacific region want to achieve.
The evaluation and grading must be conducted by leading economic and technical specialists in Asia and the world. The GPEA award is only given to organizations and enterprises that have a leading business model in the Asia-Pacific region. Up to now, Vietnam has 44 enterprises out of 227 organizations and enterprises in the Asia-Pacific Region receiving the GPEA Award.
