The recent trade war between the two world largest economies - China and the United States are being followed closely by many countries including Vietnam.
Beginning of January 2018 U.S imposed a 30% tariff on solar panel made in China. This news can somehow be a good news to Vietnam’s solar project Investor which can be beneficial with many good deals from this trade war. Have you ever wondered if there will be more opportunities for Vietnam in the midst of this trade war? There has already been talks of FDIs in China contemplating to pull out and re-invest somewhere else. Will Vietnam be the preferred location for these relocating investments?
Responding to the trade war declaration, China has also devalued her ‘Yuan’. Will that result in Chinese dumping their goods into Vietnam? Will it in turn affect Vietnam exports to China? How is it going to affect YOU?
